My goal is to make labor, birth and postpartum a positive experience for you and your family.

I recognize how difficult and painful labor can be, but with my assistance, the experience can be different.  My aim is to provide support for the mind, body and soul whether that be in the hospital, at home, an induction, VBAC, a cesarean, medicated birth or natural birth – will all benefit from having a doula.  With the health and wellness of the birther and the baby in the forefront of all decisions, the unexpected will happen. With my knowledge and calmness, I will aim to inform your own decision making so that you feel confident in your decision as you move through the birth.

“Though a doula cannot solve issues in the mother’s past or ease the (negative) message the woman has heard (about labor), she can begin her work being full present with the woman to calm her fears, to validate her strength, to reassure her that she won’t be alone, and to work with her to alleviate pain.”
